How it works
Five steps from anonymous research to a booked conversation.
TrueQuote is a contractor-controlled website pricing and value-comparison experience. A homeowner describes the job and sees a realistic range from the contractor's own pricebook, alongside contextual comparison lanes and the factors that make prices differ, without surrendering the conversation to a generic online estimate.

The homeowner describes the job
They build the job on your website, on the live Door Serv Pro deployment that is style, insulation series, panel design, size, windows, opener and timeline, and they can see it on a photo of their own home.
- 02
TrueQuote reads your pricebook
A realistic range is assembled from your own pricebook data, bounded by the percentage you configure, and it narrows as they answer, from a whole-catalog spread down to the range for the door they actually built.
- 03
Comparison lanes give it context
The range appears beside store, AI, national and manufacturer references, each labeled for what it is.
- 04
The value framework explains the gap
Licensing, warranty, scope, permits, disposal and risk appear next to the number, so a higher figure has a reason.
- 05
You get the next action
Book my quote visit, Call now, or "Not sure? Compare your options", the exact next steps the live embed offers, all on your site.
The lanes
Every number gets a label.
The homeowner is already seeing these numbers somewhere. Showing them together, with honest attribution, is what turns a suspicious gap into an explanation.
- Big-box / store priceA retail shelf number, usually with no install, permits or warranty attached.
- AI search-result rangeWhat ChatGPT or Gemini answers when they ask.collected general data
- National averageBroad market context, so a local number never looks arbitrary.
- Manufacturer-suggestedEquipment-level reference. Manufacturers do not set installed price.
Bands are the live deployment’s real output for one configuration, shown for comparison shape. The lanes appear beside your range on your site, each labeled as what it is, never as your quote. Your live range always comes from your own pricebook.

Guardrails
The model presents.It never prices.
To be clear about the AI: TrueQuote never generates your price. Your number always comes from your pricebook. AI search results appear only as labeled context, because homeowners are already seeing them elsewhere.
- R-01
You own the pricebook
The contractor owns the actual pricebook and the permitted range. Nothing publishes that you did not set.
- R-02
AI cannot move your price
AI cannot move pricing outside the contractor-set percentage. The model presents; it does not price.
- R-03
A bounded band
Ranges stay inside the percentage you configure. The Door Serv Pro test setting is ±20%.
- R-04
A range, not a quote
Online pricing is a research range, not an exact or binding job quote. Final price depends on inspection, scope, site conditions, configuration, code, labor, materials, warranty, and the provider you select.
Value framework
A price is the end of a sentence.Show the whole sentence.
Price alone is the weakest story you can tell. TrueQuote surfaces the whole basis of value beside the number, so the homeowner understands what a higher figure actually buys.
